Lake Home Concierge was started in August of 2013, by Michelle Tweed, and is located in the beautiful lakes area of West Central Minnesota. Michelle has lived in Minnesota most of her life, and in the lakes area since 2005.

Prior to moving here, Michelle worked seasonally in Antarctica for ten years, contracted through the National Science Foundation. Most of that time was spent working as a dispatcher in the fire department.

In 2005, she decided to leave the United States Antarctic Program, and she and her husband settled down near Fergus Falls, MN. Michelle worked for a local insurance company for nine years. Through those years she heard people mention that they loved to spend time at their lake home, but that it was a lot of work. The idea for Lake Home Concierge was born!
